Metabolic "fingerprint" of Pseudomonas aeruginosa as single cells in biofilm

Professor Thomas Bjarnsholt and Dr. Mads Lichtenberg from the Costerton Biofilm Center in Copenhagen present their work on metabolic fingerprinting of bacterial populations. They take standard data analysis to the next level using machine learning to identify populations of Ps. aeruginosa that were not detectable using standard analytical techniques.
