American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy (ASGCT) 2026

11 - 15 May 2026

Symcel will exhibit at the American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy (ASGCT) 2026 Annual Meeting, taking place May 11–15 at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center (MCEC) in Boston.

Visit us at Booth 1375  to learn about biocalorimetry-based microbial testing solutions that can increase patient safety, streamline workflows, and accelerate cell and gene therapy sterility testing from 14 days to under 3 days. The solutions combine growth-based sterility testing with direct product inoculation and the ability to handle complex cell matrices.

The Symcel CGT sterility testing systems are based on isothermal microcalorimetry technology that is so sensitive that even at single CFU levels, most bacteria are detected in under 24 hours, fungi in less than 48 hours, and slow growers such as C. acnes in 60 hours or less. At higher contamination levels, time to detection can be reduced to just a few hours for many microorganisms.

At our booth, we will present developments for both the calScreener® sterility testing system and future platforms, including automation capabilities and increased product volume flexibility.
